About MS Crop for a Cause
We are a volunteer non-profit helping to find a cure for MS! We do this so that people already fighting this battle can be helped and so a cure can be found. Our goal is to live in a world where people can say "I USED TO HAVE MS!!" We believe, working together, we can make make MS a memory!
In 1995, I was 2 months pregnant and went completely blind. The doctors didn’t know why and hoped my sight would return. Within six weeks my sight returned I went about my life. I had a beautiful son, and my husband and I began this exciting journey called parenthood. When our son was 2 years old I lost my eyesight again and went numb on the left side of my body. At this time I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Words cannot describe the depth of sadness for our family. I truly believe things happen for a reason! About a month before my “episode” a client of mine had asked me to volunteer for Walk MS. By the time the walk was here I had been diagnosed (ironic, huh?!). Our family has been volunteering for and participating in Walk MS ever since. We host fundraisers all year long and donate all of the proceeds from our events to the National MS Society.
